CAJUN BLUE CHEESE BURGERS
THIRD PLACE

2 lbs. ground beef, 80 percent lean

2 tbsp. Louisiana hot sauce

1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese

cup olive oil  

Cajun spice

1 large tomato, sliced

1 large red onion, sliced

Lettuce

Blue cheese dressing

6 to 8 kaiser rolls  

Combine beef, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and Parmesan cheese in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Separate into 6 to 8 balls, depending on how large you want your burgers. Press into patties and place on a baking sheet.

Brush each burger with olive oil and sprinkle it with Cajun spice.

Place on a heated grill, seasoned side down. Brush back side with olive oil and sprinkle with Cajun spice.

Sear burgers on both sides, then flip frequently until they reach desired doneness.

Serve on kaiser rolls, topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and blue cheese dressing.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
